What a gem bakery! Breakfast and Bacon & egg pies had the right amount of fresh wholesome ingredients with crispy crunch pastry. Sausage roll was generous in meat and tasted home made. Also bought the Potato Sourdough bread which was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. So divine! Can't wait to come back and try more of the menu.
A lovely unique country bakery serving a great range of sourdough pastries, breads and other goodies. We had delicious sourdough croissants, fruit loaf and pastries plus great coffee!! I bought the oat sourdough which had a great crumb and texture but wasn’t sour enough for my taste buds (will be perfect for someone who wants a less tangy sourdough experience). Very friendly staff and nice seating area indoors and in the courtyard.
Nice little bakery with warm atmosphere and welcoming vibes. Great selection of pastries and bread. Croque monsieur was very tasty, sausage roll was solid and coffee was sensational. Unique take on a vanilla slice wouldn’t say it’s my favourite, but still enjoyable. Staff were kind despite forgetting our order. A little disappointed about the lack of oat milk and the 10% weekend surcharge but overall we enjoyed our visit and would definitely come back if we were nearby!
Well worth the trip here for lunch. The Rueben’s sandwich was fantastic. The Sausage Roll really was one of the best we’ve ever had, and the Egg & Bacon pie hit the spot.
Can’t say enough about the pies and sandwich as they were great.

Went there over a friend's recommendation and didn't regret it for one bit. The cafe was simple and had a very welcoming atmosphere. By far the best mocha I've tasted in a while. Their food portions might look small but they do fill you up. Overall, Redbeard Cafe is a must-visit destination for bread and coffee lovers in the Melbourne area. Will definitely go there again.

From savoury to sweet and all the sour dough bread you could ever want. We got a coffee and pie and it was well worth the drive to get here.
What a great place to have brekkie / lunch when in Trentham. We drove here from Melbourne with friends just to enjoy the breakfast on weekend. 100% worth the trip for breakfast.
The place is pets friendly - they have a small area where u can leave them while you enjoy the meal. Ambiance of the place is sooo nice and cosy!
They had lots of vegetarian options which was great for us.
The sourdough bread are a must buy as they are soo good and freshly baked + they have plenty of different options 🤗
Amazing little bakery/cafe tucked behind the main street. Customer service was friendly and helpful. The sausage rolls are out of this world, perfect crust to meat ratio. Also coffee is fabulous. The bakery has an old country charm to it, our go to place for a quick bite before driving up to Daylesford ☕
